The Daily Digest for Monday: 10% off Safeway Coupon & Sneak Peeks, FREE Target Grocery Delivery, Amazon Deals, + Much More! Check out this post to get caught up on Today’s Deals:

I’ve changed the format of this a bit to make it easier for you to QUICKLY see the NEWEST Deals for the day (or Weekend Wrap-Ups.) I was struggling with how best to keep some of the previous deals around that were still good, without making it cumbersome to find that day’s New Deals. It seemed a shame to just delete some of the deals after a day that were still really good and long-term. But, I also want you to be able to quickly check on the newest ones, too! So, deals from the SAME day (or weekend wrap-up for 3-days) will be at the very top. Deals that you may want to reference later will follow.

In my Penny Pantry Facebook Group, I post many deals & info. throughout the day including freebies, deal updates & changes, Amazon Deals, meals & recipes, food discounts I run across + more! Some are more timely than others: the Amazon Warehouse Deals tend to come and go quickly, so Facebook is a good platform for me to let you know about those deals quickly.

Posts here on my website take longer to write and deliver, so I primarily use it for Weekly Grocery Deals, and other deals I think you may want to reference later. But, I’d like to bridge that gap as not everyone is on Facebook. Plus, it may be nice to have the Daily Deals together, as the Facebook feeds don’t run exclusively chronologically.

So, I’ll try this out and see how it goes! Please let me know if you think this will be useful as a companion to my Facebook posts. And, if you’re on Facebook and haven’t joined our group yet, I hope you will join and become part of our active, supportive vegan community! <3 Amy

• Safeway Early Preview: I looked into my grocery crystal ball and we have a $2.77/lb. cherry sale coming up! Pictured are ones a friend gave me recently from Safeway, and they were amazing! They’re currently priced at $5.99/lb. so you may want to wait a few days if you’re wanting cherries. Sales can be regional, I’m in N. CA in the SF Bay Area. This sale starts Wed. • Safeway Sneak Peek – Starts Wed.! We’ll have a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Melon Sale that includes watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew. Sales can be regional, I’m in N. California.
• Freezing Bananas Tip: With the weather warming up, I’ll be making more banana nice cream. I like to freeze them on a cookie sheet 1st, then transfer to a ziploc bag when they are solidly frozen. This prevents them from sticking together, and it’s easy to just take out as much as you want.

• Safeway Early Preview: I got a peek at the new ad starting Wednesday, and I see corn for $.15 ea.! You can see all my Weekly Deals for Safeway that go thru Tuesday here.

Online Grocery Deals

Costco

• Costco: Good deal on the Alpha Chik’n Patties, $6.99 for a 10 pack with the instant coupon.
• Costco: Another good find was tomatoes for $.99/lb. That is my buy price for most veggies.
• I also spotted Field Roast Sausages at Costco. I see them there sometimes, but not always. They looked tempting, but I have 4 lbs. of vital wheat gluten to make my own.
• I’m trying the Costco Oatmilk for the 1st time. I really like it in my coffee! Added a bit of Torani French vanilla syrup too. Have you tried this oatmilk?
• The watermelon I got from Costco was delicious! $4.99 for a large sized one.

Coupons/Rebates

• These are the coupons we are expecting in the Sunday newspaper. We’ll see coupons for Chobani Products, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyer’s + More! We also have a Chobani rebate to use with the coupons, I’ve included the link in this post.
• We have about a week left to do the Blue Diamond Almond Rebate. The best deal is to buy 6 and get $10 back, can do up to 5x! (on separate receipts). Starting Sunday, we‘ll have a Buy 1, Get 1 FREE at both Walgreen’s and Rite Aid which will be perfect for this rebate. I think the FREE ones will count toward the 6, I’m planning to do this deal early in the week to double-check. This will make each can of almonds just about $.45 ea.!
• Super Pretzel $1/1 coupon: if you find these at the Dollar Tree, they will be FREE! Note: The plain regular and bites are vegan, others aren’t.
• Wow! Be on the lookout for this 50% off Ibotta pop up offer. I don’t know if there are limitations on the 50% off, but sounds like a good deal

• 10% off Amazon Warehouse Sale! Wide assortment including books, gaming stuff, even a tankless water heater. Note that some of the items are “used”. The 10% off will deduct automatically in your cart.
• Too cute! Discount on this Brentwood Animal Shape Waffle Maker Machine, Non-Stick, Blue.
• Reminder: A perk for Prime members is Amazon Prime Wardrobe, where you can “try before you buy”. My daughter has done this for bathing suits, she ordered a few sizes and just kept the one she liked. It was easy and FREE to return the ones she didn’t want to keep.

• Safeway (and likely affiliate stores): Check your Just 4 U app coupons for this $2 Starbucks drink coupon!
• Large personal-sized watermelons just $2.50 ea. with a Safeway app coupon.
• Reminder: Ben & Jerry’s is Buy 1, Get 1 Free at Safeway thru Tuesday. Check your app coupons, I have a $1/1 to sweeten the deal!
• Fareway Shoppers: Every Thursday, they are having a throwback price coupon. This week it’s $.50 bread, you’ll need this coupon! looks like the whole wheat one has honey though. Please check ingredients carefully!
• Sprouts: Good Karma Flaxmilk half gallon just $.29! I added this to my Weekly Deals under “Refrigerated/Frozen. Easy deal, just use your phone!
• Whole Foods: The Weekly Dave’s Bread Sale is available in-store or online here if you have delivery in your area.

• Whole Foods: I’ve added more deals! Just when I thought I cracked the code on their sale schedules, discovered something else! I’m now spotting sales that run for 2 weeks, in addition to the ones that are weekly and monthly. The 2-week ones just showed up, I’m adding a bunch right now.
• Whole Foods: One of the new deals I just added is for Beyond Burgers, pay as low as $2.45.
• We have thru Saturday on our Weekly Drugstore Deals at Walgreen’s, Rite Aid & CVS
• We have thru Sat. on our Target Deals, good deal on bubly!
• There’s a $2 off coupon now for Nick’s Ice Cream! Note that many, but not all are vegan. The coupon is for “any”.

• Whole Foods: Most of the weekly advertised Produce Items are in-store sales only now, but not these! If you have Whole Foods Delivery in your area, this is a nice online deal for organic strawberries.

• Safeway Reminder: We have an awesome Monthly Deal on Silk Oatmilk! This is good on all the varieties, from the unsweetened to the decadent full fat. These actually came up $.75 for me with offers I had saved in the Safeway app. My deal idea is for $1.25 ea., but you may get lucky like I did.
• I’m planning to do the Beyond Deal again at CVS, as my Ibottas reset! FYI the 20% off CVS app coupon may be gone, but check for others too. I’m seeing a $3 off frozen coupon. Even without the coupon, you can get these for FREE/moneymaker by using some/all the ideas I have in the post.
• BIG discount in the Outlet, 13 left! Electric Mini Garlic Chopper Mincer, Portable Cordless Garlic Mincer Grinder. This comes with one of my favorite kitchen tools, the garlic roller!
• We often have good deals on multipacks of Barilla Pasta in regular Amazon. I like that this one has two varieties: BARILLA Blue Box Pasta Variety Pack, Penne & Spaghetti, 16 oz. Box (Pack of 8. I always have pasta in my pantry, makes for quick dinners!
