Vegan Eggs – from Loving Hut Supply

I tried these vegan eggs for the 1st time yesterday and was blown away. They are so realistic, and fun! Definitely a “Good Egg”.

I purchased them from Loving Hut Vegan Supply in San Jose, CA. A friend was familiar with this source for vegan products and loves these eggs.

Loving Hut Vegan Supply is located in a warehouse among many other warehouses. My daughter asked if it was like “US Foods Chef’Store.” Nope, very different. You’ll see the burgundy sign form the street, and there may be a sign instructing you to enter thru the back door.

That’s where your vegan adventure begins! We just walked thru the warehouse with boxes piled high and gawked at all the cool vegan finds. I wasn’t even sure what we were allowed to purchase, but if you’re willing to buy a box I think they will accommodate. Walking past these boxes, we came to shelves stocked with candy bars, ramen, etc. A small section but delightful nonetheless. Nothing is priced for the public, but you can ask the owner who is milling around.

Just past this section are a couple of freezers. Open them! They won’t disappoint. Jam-packed full of vegan meats, eggs and even the owner’s lunch! I grabbed a HUGE pack of drumsticks (daughter’s fave from our local Vietnamese restaurant), and the vegan eggs. On my trip, I also picked up some ramen, and a couple of Go Maxx candy bars. I was allowed to buy just a couple of the bars as the box was opened. $2 a piece was a good price for those – just don’t ask me what I paid for the drumsticks. LOL. Vegan shrimp, lobster rolls also caught my eye in the freezer.

While we were shopping, the owner brought over a box for our purchases, a cart and even a chair for us to sit down in.

So, how did I like the eggs? They were amazing! I’ll definitely be back for more. if you haven’t been to this place yet, put it on your list and go ASAP!
