Update 5/28: The deadline to claim in-store prizes was extended! I had a few left to claim that I expected to be expired. They now have an expiration of 6/08.
The Safeway (and affiliates) Monopoly Game has officially ended, but we still have time to scan tickets, claim any prizes we won, use our online “Tokens” for free food, enter online sweepstakes and other prizes.
Do you still have a stack of tickets? You can scan them all in and cash in the tokens for Free Food, Coupons, Special Offers and lots of other stuff! Or, cash prizes. 🙂
Here are the deadlines:
May 18th: Last day to scan/enter codes online. New this year is nearly ALL tickets must be scanned in to redeem a prize, including $ off coupons. When you win a prize or scan a coupon, it will show up in the “List” area of your Safeway app after you scan the barcode or win in the online match 3 game.
May 27th: Last day to claim prizes, including any instant free food tickets, gift cards, and any prizes you have saved to your Safeway Card.
Note: Shutterfly prizes are a bit different, you enter a code on their site. Deadlines for those prizes are longer, sometime in June.
Many of the token redeemed prizes are now gone, but you can still use tokens for a few items last I checked, or to enter sweepstakes.
