Here is what I heard back from The Counter:
Hello Amy, Thank you for contacting The Counter. Our Counter Points Loyalty program offers a Free order of Fries when signing up and then on your birthday a Free Shake along with great offers throughout the year to members.
The birthday offer you are referring to for the Free Burger BOGO is an offer put out by individual stores. They have opted to work with a company called Dynamicard who put out mailers usually within a 5 mile radius of the owners location and whos information have been obtained via public record. The Counter Points Loyalty program is only for members who have registered their information.
So it’s not that our program has changed, it is just two separate offerings you may have experienced. Sincerely,The Counter Customer Service
My Free Burger coupon is not linked to their Loyalty Program as I had thought. But where does it come from? It is NOT a BOGO coupon, it is a straight up FREE burger. I can’t imagine I am the only one who receives this. I will ask my local restaurant when I visit to redeem my coupon. It sounds like they may have a different advertiser from the Loyalty card advertisers.
If there is a FREE Impossible Burger for my readers to also have, I want to get it for you! 🙂 We have the Free Fries, now we need that burger!
To be Continued….
