There is a new Target Cartwheel that will make for a great deal on 2 Liter bottles of Schweppes soda that are currently on sale for $1. If you are new to Target Cartwheel, it is within the Target phone app where you can save coupons and just scan the barcode at the register. Very easy! You can also use this soda deal toward the the $10 Gift Card when you spend $50 Deal. The coupon can be clipped from the current ad, or found in the Target mobile app in the “wallet” area.
When I am hosting Christmas, I usually make a festive punch to serve. This is especially good to have with a large group, and both children and adults like it too. I make an ice ring for serving by freezing some of the same juice that’s used in the recipe in a bundt pan. (Fill 1/3 to half full.) I place the ice ring in the punch bowl after I make the punch. You can also make it look like a holly wreath with bits of fruit and herbs arranged in the pan. The frozen juice not only looks pretty, it will keep the punch cold for a long time and not dilute it as ice would. I serve it in a punch bowl with the little cups that came with the bowl. The punch is very economical to make when you buy the ingredients when they are on sale at the lowest prices; $1-$1.50 for apple juice, and this sale on Ginger Ale pairs perfectly!
