Free Large Pumpkins!
These prices are good in the San Francisco, California area. Prices may be regional, so you may want to check your prices before heading out. You can check your store HERE.
Free Pumpkins! Yes, you read that right! Safeway currently has a promotion when you spend $20 in Produce, you can get a FREE Large Pumpkin! “Produce” may include other things besides typical fruits and vegetables. In past promotions, it included everything that was sold in the Produce Dept.! These pumpkins were priced at $5.99 last week. There are some produce deals that are at their lowest prices this week, so if you stick to those deals this will be a good deal! To get the free pumpkin, you will need to clip the coupon in the ad, or save it on the Safeway app in the J4U area. Here is the what the coupon looks like in the flyer:
To get these sale prices, you will need to use a Safeway Rewards Card. I will indicate if you also need to clip or click a coupon as well. Happy Saving! Enjoy your free pumpkins! 🙂

Frugal Musings: I talk about low prices all the time, but it’s also good to know how much you are saving by making the choice to pay lower prices. For example, raspberries are on “Sale” for $6/2 for 6 oz. at Safeway this week. Doesn’t that SOUND like a good price? The store is telling us it is. If you calculate the price per pound, though, you see the cost is $8/lb. My buy now price is $3 or less per berries, and if I wanted berries this week I may choose instead to buy blackberries at Sprouts for $2.80/lb. Or, just use the stash in my freezer when I stocked up at the lowest prices. 🙂
