We have some really good Weekly Deals on all the ingredients for your vegan St. Patrick’s Day Dishes!
Since this trio of veggies is typically found in many traditional dishes, I wanted to highlight the best deals on them if you’re heading out this weekend to pick up these ingredients.
Here is a recipe for Vegan Corned Beef and Cabbage that I found. I haven’t tried this one, but it is similar to other ones I have tried. I would replace the oil with broth. If you don’t care for tempeh, I think this recipe would adapt itself well to seitan, or even firm tofu. I would also ADD POTATOES when the carrots and cabbage are added. The photo shows potatoes, but they’re not included in the recipe. I would add about 3 medium sized potatoes, peeled, if they are russet, and unpeeled for red or yellow.
These prices are good at my stores in the San Francisco Bay Area, and your regional area may differ.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone! 🙂
